A change of scene for a new rose enthusiast. Who has blended their stage lighting career at the National Theatre with designing gardens, where roses take centre stage.

Oliver Charles Gardens specialises in professional rose garden design and planting services. From expert rose selection and rejuvenation of existing beds, to designing new rose gardens for people who love roses.

Founded by Oliver Roberts, based in Norfolk, having worked a season with Peter Beales Roses last year and on their award-winning exhibitions at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and the RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival and trained in practical horticulture.

Oliver has now started a garden design practice, dedicated to roses and his passion for reclaimed garden statues, pots, and planters, to bring theatre, drama, and romance to professional rose garden-making. Using the fundamental principles of garden design to create focal points and planting design to stage all year-round seasonal interest, he creates a showstopping display of roses with companion plants, as in the theatre, creating mood, texture and shape throughout the whole performance to tell the story.
